Space Use Regulations and Policies

 

The following usage regulations must be observed by all clients. Failure to comply will result in assessment of repair or service fees in addition to normal charges, and may result in legal action.

 

  • Helium balloons are not allowed in Bull Run Hall Atrium or Common Areas
  • Masking tape is allowed on painted surfaces in the meeting rooms or closed event spaces, however it must be removed carefully to avoid stripping the paint or otherwise damaging the surface. Blue painters' tape is recommended
  • Thumb tacks, pushpins, scotch/duct tape or adhesives are not allowed on any painted wall surfaces in  the Occoquan Building, Bull Run Hall, or Discovery Hall
  • No open flames are permitted in the facilities
  • Event spaces must be left in the same condition and set-up arrangement in which they were found.
  • Clients must clean up and discard all catering residuals when using a caterer other than Sodexho. Housekeeping charges may be assessed for removal of trash or catering left after the event
  • Furniture or plants in public areas may not be moved to any meeting rooms or multifunctional spaces
  • Groups may not drag furniture across the floor. Please lift or ask for assistance
  • Please use ONLY dry erase markers on white boards. Kindly wipe off white boards at the conclusion of your event
  • The only animals allowed in the facilities are service dogs
  • Smoking and use of illegal drugs is not permitted in the facilities
