Classroom Equipment
Occoquan Building classrooms are equipped with overhead projectors and TV/VCR. Additional equipment such as slide projectors and LCD projection systems with Laptops may be reserved from the Classroom Support Office. Please make AV equipment reservations at least two weeks in advance to assure availability of equipment.
Bull Run Hall classrooms are modeled after those in Innovation Hall, and include projection capability, VHS and DVD equipment, laptop connectivity, a document-stand camera and a touch-panel control device, sound systems, and a telephone and computer for instructor use. Computer classrooms are equipped with a computer at each seat, and noncomputer classrooms feature wireless network connectivity.
Computer Teaching Labs in Bull Run Hall: Room 250 (60+2HC seats), and Room 252 (29+1HC seats) feature student workstations and 1 teacher workstation. The teaching station video output is projected through a high definition LCD projection system. The lab has Pentium III systems running ITU supported applications as follows: Microsoft Office XP, Netscape Communicator, Internet Explorer, Telnet, FTP, and Adobe Acrobat Reader. In addition, this facility also features laser printing.
Any special software or hardware configurations should be cleared through ITU-PWC at least two weeks in advance to guarantee the configuration request, as ITU-PWC must allow for testing (if needed) and installation around the reservation schedule.
